On April 3, 2026, Miss Somjit Takamsaeng, Director of Maerim Wittayakom School, together with the school administrators, teachers, and educational personnel, attended the funeral chanting ceremony and expressed their condolences on the passing of Mr. Weerawan Kankaew, the beloved father of Mrs. Patthara Patthapong, a Mathematics teacher, at Weerawan’s residence in Mae Rim District, Chiang Mai Province.
