On May 26, 2025, Ms. Somchit Takamsaeng, Principal of Mae Rim Wittayakhom School, assigned the Military Cadet Club to accompany upper secondary students who applied for the 2025 academic year to undergo the selection process for the Territorial Defense Student Program. The selection took place at the 33rd Military Circle in Chiang Mai Province.
